About the Job
Besa is hiring a full-time team member to lead Promise, our proprietary corporate philanthropy software that helps our partners make greater community impact. We’re looking for an excellent collaborator. An energetic innovator. A people person who is passionate about using technology to change the world.
Our ideal candidate possesses a trio of skill sets and is enthusiastic about uniting them into this one unique position: account manager, product manager and user experience expert.
In this role, you will:
- Drive the overall vision of Promise and communicate the vision to all relevant stakeholders.
- Foster and strengthen partnerships with new and existing clients.
- Implement an efficient and effective process — from on-boarding to providing ongoing support — to ensure clients are involved, updated and receive the greatest value from Promise.
- Own project deliverables for clients. This includes monitoring, tracking and managing project tasks, timelines and milestones.
- Identify what types of product features will offer the best user experience (UI/UX) and work with CTO to assess the feasibility of producing those features.
- Team with the CEO on the integration of Besa’s public volunteer site with Promise to unlock additional community and client value.
- Manage the evolution of Promise by anticipating client needs, setting and managing expectations, and collaborating with the CTO to design, configure and put ideas into action.
- Keep our team informed of key Promise milestones, client successes, potential risks and new opportunities.

About You

Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic training.
- Some combination of 3+ years professional project or product management experience within a corporate environment, a software development company, and/or a startup environment.
- Understanding of technical language and ability to translate that language to the team and our clients.
- Experience creating or designing technology that people interact with. (E.g.: websites, apps, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of software-as-a-service platforms and customer support, or online enterprise collaboration tools. E.g.: Salesforce, Oracle, Concur, Confluence, Github, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Excellent, clear and compelling verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with great project management skills and an ability to complete projects in a timely manner.
- Ability to assess a situation quickly, ask the right questions and find the best solution.
- Commitment to the mission of Besa and a desire to change the world with us.

Travel Requirements
Because this position will require some local travel, reliable transportation is required.
Additionally, there may be up to 10% travel outside of Columbus. This may include client visits and/or conferences.
